PSALM 23 FOR THE STUDENT

The LORD is my Tutor , I shall not worry

He makes me settle down in strange libraries ,

He leads me to reference materials ,

He restores my wakefulness in class ,

Yea , though i walk through classrooms and sleepy lectures ,

I will fear no failure , for Thou art with me .

Thy whispers and Thy encouragement , they comfort me.

Notes and formulas before me in the imminence of my examination .

Thou anoints my mind with oil , my preparation runneth over ,

Surely goodness and merciful results shall follow me ,

All the days of my course , and I will serve in the fellowship

of the Lord in my school and forever more.
